Almost twenty years of local occasion work, family-run, with vehicles for the couple and for the guests.

- Almost twenty years hiring out party buses and limousines in the area
- Family-run: you speak to the people who run the fleet
- Professional chauffeurs with strong Bristol local knowledge
- Well-maintained vehicles, cleaned before every booking
- Cars for the couple plus 16-seat guest transport

What you are booking
## Two distinctive cars, and a plan for everyone else
Wedding car hire covers two jobs on the day. The first is the couple's arrival and departure, which is where our open-top wedding cars and Excalibur wedding cars come in, both are cars guests turn round to look at, and both photograph beautifully outside a church, register office or country venue. The second job is everyone else: parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen and guests who need moving between ceremony, reception and hotel without relying on their own lifts.

We handle both, which is why couples often book a wedding car alongside a sixteen-seat party bus or limousine. The couple travel in the car; the wedding party and guests travel together in a single vehicle that runs to the same timetable. That removes the most common wedding-day delay, which is guests arriving in dribs and drabs and holding up the meal.

Every wedding booking runs on an agreed schedule. We ask for the ceremony time, the venue addresses and any photograph slots, then build the timings backwards from those, allowing for Bristol traffic rather than hoping for a clear run.

### Who books this

- Couples who want a distinctive arrival car rather than a plain saloon
- Weddings with separate ceremony and reception venues
- Wedding parties who need moving as one group
- Couples with guests staying at a hotel away from the venue
- Anyone whose photographer wants the car in the shotsCheck your date

Leave it too late and
## Wedding transport is the detail that quietly runs the timetable
Wedding days do not fail on the transport being unavailable; they fail on the transport being unplanned. A ceremony at 1pm, photographs until 3pm and a sit-down at 4pm only works if every group moves when it is supposed to. When guests are left to arrange their own lifts, the meal starts late, the photographer loses the light, and the couple spend their afternoon counting cars in a car park.

The other pressure is the date itself. Saturdays in summer are the most contested dates in this business, and wedding bookings are usually made further ahead than any other type of hire for exactly that reason. Enquiring twelve months out is normal; enquiring six weeks out means taking whatever is free.

### Booking a car but not the guest transport
The couple arrive perfectly and half the guests are still parking. Book both legs of the day and the timetable holds.

### Underestimating the travel time
Bristol traffic on a Saturday afternoon is not the same as a weekday morning. We build the schedule around the real journey, with time in hand.

### Leaving the date late
Summer Saturdays are the first to go. Confirming the transport early costs nothing extra and removes a job from the list.

Our process
## How we plan wedding transport

- 01
### Enquiry
Send the wedding date, ceremony and reception venues, and roughly how many guests need moving.

- 02
### Vehicle selection
We confirm which wedding cars are free and whether a sixteen-seat bus or limousine is needed alongside them.

- 03
### Timeline planning
We work the pick-up times backwards from the ceremony, allowing for traffic, photographs and any second venue.

- 04
### Confirmation
You get the schedule and one clear price in writing, and the vehicles are held for your date.

- 05
### The wedding day
Chauffeurs arrive in good time, work to the agreed timings and stay flexible when the day runs a little long.

What you get
## What good wedding transport is worth

### Arrivals that photograph
Open-top and Excalibur cars are unusual enough to earn their place in the album, rather than being cropped out of it.

### A timetable that holds
Agreed pick-ups with time built in for traffic keeps the ceremony, photographs and meal running when they should.

### Guests arrive together
A sixteen-seat vehicle moves the wedding party or guests as one group between venues, instead of a convoy of private cars.

### Nobody drinks and drives
Chauffeur-driven transport at both ends of the day removes the awkward conversation about who is staying sober.

### One less supplier to chase
You deal directly with a family-run team, not a call centre or a booking platform, and the person you speak to knows your booking.

### A fixed cost in the budget
The price is agreed in advance for the schedule you need, so the transport line in the wedding budget stops moving.

In detail
## Wedding cars and wedding transport in detail

### Open top wedding cars
An open-top wedding car gives you the arrival where the couple can be seen, and photographed, from the moment the car turns into the venue. It suits summer weddings, country and garden venues, and any couple who would rather not step out of a car that looks like a taxi. On a dry day it is the most photogenic option we run.

Because it is weather-dependent by nature, we talk through the plan when you book: where the car waits, how long the drive is, and what the arrangement is if the forecast turns. Couples generally pair it with a covered vehicle for the wedding party so there is no scramble if the weather changes.

### Excalibur wedding cars
The Excalibur is the vintage-styled wedding car with the long bonnet, sweeping wings and side-mounted spare, a genuinely distinctive vehicle that gives a wedding album an unmistakable look. It is the car couples choose when they want something with real character rather than a modern executive saloon.

It works particularly well for register office and hotel weddings in and around Bristol, where the arrival happens in front of the whole guest list and the car is in every photograph taken outside. As with the open-top cars, there is one of each, so early enquiries get the choice.

### Guest and wedding-party transfers
Moving guests is the part of wedding transport most couples plan last and regret most. Our sixteen-seat party buses and stretch limousines cover it in a single booking: a hotel pick-up before the ceremony, a transfer from ceremony to reception, and an end-of-night run back to the hotel. Everyone travels together, arrives together and nobody drives.

For larger guest lists we can run repeat shuttle legs between the same two points, so long as the timings are agreed in advance. Give us the venue addresses, the guest numbers and the times you need people in place, and we will tell you what is realistic.

### Ceremony, reception and second-venue logistics
Weddings with two venues need the transport planned as a sequence, not a list. We work back from the ceremony start: the couple's pick-up, the wedding party's arrival ahead of them, the transfer window while photographs are being taken, and the final run once the day ends. Each leg gets its own agreed time with slack built in.

Our chauffeurs know Bristol's routes, the drop-off points at city venues, and which approaches a long or sixteen-seat vehicle can actually use. That local knowledge is the difference between a car arriving at the door and a car circling a one-way system while the registrar waits.

### Booking a wedding: timings and lead times
Wedding enquiries come in earlier than anything else we take, frequently a year ahead, and summer Saturdays are the first dates to fill. There is no downside to asking early: we will confirm what is free for your date and hold the vehicles once you are ready.

When you enquire, the four most useful details are the wedding date, the ceremony time, both venue addresses and the number of guests who need transport. With those we can put together a schedule and a price rather than a rough guess.

### Pricing wedding transport
Wedding transport is priced per booking, because a single arrival car for a church five minutes away and a full day of guest shuttles between two venues are entirely different jobs. We quote on your schedule so the figure covers everything you have asked for, with nothing added later.

Call 0117 463 3593 between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday to talk the day through, or email bookings@partybusbristol.co.uk with your date and venues and we will come back to you with options.

In our customers' words
## Customers who came back for the wedding

The Limo People were fantastic from the start. Had the party bus for my fiancée's hen party. Kristian the driver was very helpful, made sure he was on time and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable before they left. The trip was very comfortable and fun. Will definitely be using them again for our wedding night. Thanks guys.John Totten

Can't fault this company at all! Used them many times now for birthday celebrations and never let us down. Arrived on time, the driver has always been lovely and chatty, a really good experience. Friends and family have grown to love it as well and choose to do this every time for an occasion. Our favourite is definitely the party bus.Sabree Welch

Common questions
## Wedding car hire in Bristol, answered
How much does wedding car hire in Bristol cost?It is quoted per wedding, because the price depends on the date, the vehicles, the number of legs and the distance between venues. Send us your date and venues and we will price the schedule you actually need.

Which wedding cars do you have?Open top wedding cars and Excalibur wedding cars for the couple, plus sixteen-seat party buses and stretch limousines for the wedding party and guests.

How far in advance should we book wedding transport? As early as you can, wedding enquiries often come a year ahead, and summer Saturdays fill first. If your date is closer, call us and we will tell you honestly what is still available.

Can you move our guests between the ceremony and reception?Yes. Our sixteen-seat vehicles are regularly used to move wedding parties and guests between ceremony, reception and hotel, keeping the day to time.

What happens if the weather is bad and we booked an open top car?We talk it through when you book. In practice couples pair an open-top car with a covered vehicle for the wedding party, so there is a plan in place rather than a decision to make on the morning.

What if our wedding runs late?Weddings rarely run to the minute, and our chauffeurs expect that. We build slack into the schedule and stay in contact on the day so the later legs adjust rather than collapse.

Do you decorate the wedding cars?Tell us what you have in mind when you book and we will confirm what we can do for your vehicle, so there are no surprises on the morning.

Can the same vehicle do more than one journey on the day?Often yes, provided the timings work. We plan each leg with the travel time between venues so one vehicle can cover several journeys where the schedule allows.

Where can you collect and drop off for weddings? We collect and drop off nationwide, door to door. Send the venue postcodes and we will confirm before you commit.

Can we see the cars before booking?Ask when you enquire and we will tell you what we can arrange. You will always know exactly which vehicle is allocated to your wedding before you confirm.
